Indian culture cannot function without Gita, Ganga, Gau-Mata and Govind: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Indian culture cannot function without Gita, Ganga, Gau-Mata and Govind. Cow and Ganga are the only things on earth which are very dear to God, without them the progress of India cannot be imagined. Cow is revered by the entire human race. This festival keeps the Indian people connected to their roots and shows the feeling of respect towards nature. It is also a symbol of promotion of our culture and tradition. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the state government is doing public welfare work by preserving and promoting Indian culture.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav today on Friday participated in the Govardhan Puja program under the one-year Vedlakshana Gau-Aradhana Mahotsav at Kamdhenu Gau-Abhyaranya Salaria District Agar-Malwa. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also distributed benefits from the stage to the beneficiaries of the public welfare schemes of the government.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav worshipped Govardhan mountain and cow mother with rituals and chanting of mantras and offered 56 bhogs to Lord Krishna. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated development works worth more than Rs 49 crore for Agar-Malwa district and performed Bhoomi Pujan. He also congratulated everyone on Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day. The program was inaugurated by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav by lighting the lamp and performing Kanya Pujan. On this occasion, Animal Husbandry Minister Shri Lakhan Singh Patel, Minister of State with Independent Charge Shri Gautam Tetwal, MP Susner Shri Rodmal Nagar, MLA Shri Madhu Gehlot, Pujya Paramhans Prajnanananda Ji Maharaj of Shri Godham Mahatirth Pathmedha, District Panchayat President Smt. Munnabai Chauhan were present.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the whole world has seen the treatment of diseases like cancer with cow urine, cow milk is used in more than 200 countries of the world. He said that the Madhya Pradesh government is also always committed to cow service, festivals are being organized continuously at the government level. Now we are worshipping cow mother, he said that the government has taken an important decision and doubled the grant for cow feed in the cow shelter. All cow shelters will be protected. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the person who rears more than 10 cows, the government will also give him grant and fulfill the resolution of cow service from house to house.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that all those who rear cows are Gopal, whoever has a cow in his house, his house is Gokul, we have to make Gokul in every house, the government has decided to increase the cow population in every house. Our 33 crore gods and goddesses are also present in cow mother. Gaushalas will be opened at the government level, in which the government will be responsible for taking care of old, helpless and disabled cows and this resolution will be fulfilled with the help of the saint community.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh supplies about 9 percent of the milk production in the country. The government has decided to make it a leader in the country by improving the breed of cows through the National Dairy Development Board and increasing milk production within the next five years. He said that we want to make such arrangements in the state that the cow-keepers who raise cows leave the non-milking cows in the cow shelters.
