To grow spinach at home, you have to take care of the size of the pot. You should buy a big and wide pot for spinach, not a deep one. Everyone knows that spinach does not grow much in height, it needs wide space for its different and more leaves. You can also use a grow bag if you want. There should be a proper arrangement for water drainage at the bottom of the pot, due to excess moisture the plant gets spoiled quickly.
To get a good yield of spinach, nutritious soil has to be used. In such a situation, take 50 percent normal garden soil, 40 percent cow dung manure or vermicompost and 10 percent sand. Along with this, take a little neem cake. After mixing everything well, keep it in a ventilated place for one to two days, then fill it in the pot.
After filling the soil in the pot or grow bag, put the spinach seeds in it all around and press it and add a little water. Keep in mind that the amount of water should be such that the soil remains moist. Keep the pot in a place where it can get sunlight, but it should not be exposed to direct sunlight. You will need to water the plant daily.
