Devotees will be able to take prasad through automatic vending machine in Shri Mahakaleshwar temple
Bhopal. Jyotirlinga Shri Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain is going to be such a temple, where devotees will be able to get prasad through automatic vending machine. Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee Chairman and Collector Shri Neeraj Kumar Singh said that after the devotees scan the QR code and make payment, the packet of laddu will come out of the machine from the prasad well. For this, the temple committee has ordered an automatic machine from a company named 5G Technology of Coimbatore. Devotees will be able to get packets of 100 grams, 200 grams and 500 grams of laddu from the machine.
Out of the world famous twelve Jyotirlingas, the only south-facing Lord Shri Mahakaleshwar temple is running a laddu prasad manufacturing unit and free food distribution by the management committee.
Even during Covid-19, following the guidelines, along with providing easy darshan to the visitors, the high level of excellence of hygienic laddu prasad and free food prasadi in Annkshetra was included in the 5 star rating. In this regard, a certificate has been issued by FSSAI of the Government of India.
In the year 2021, Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee is probably the first religious institution in the whole of India to receive a 5 star rating in hygienic excellence in the field of laddu prasad and the free Annkshetra is the third institution among religious institutions to receive a 5 star rating of hygienic excellence.
FSSAI of the Government of India inspected and audited both the above units on various points and after evaluation, both the units were considered excellent. Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee has also received the certificate of “Safe Bhog Place”.
