Shukvaro Bai and Aasho Bai do not need to ask for money from anyone in times of need
Raipur,/ With the implementation of Mahtari Vandan Yojana in the state, many mothers and sisters do not have to beg for money from anyone for their small needs. Till a few months ago, Aasho Bai, an old lady of about 70 years of age from village Khetar under development block Korba, had to ask for money from some people to fulfill her small needs. Many times she had to wait for a long time for a few rupees. Now, with Mahtari Vandan Yojana, she gets 01 thousand rupees in her account on time every month. Old lady Aasho Bai of village Khetar told that with age she has difficulty in doing any work, she somehow does small household work. She grazes her goats around the house. She told that she has withdrawn the amount received from Mahtari Vandan Yojana last month. This amount has been used to buy essential items for the house, for treatment and during illness, medicines, fruits etc. Shukvaro Bai of village Bela said that she waits for the amount of Mahtari Vandan Yojana every month. She gets a lot of relief when the amount comes in the account on time. This amount is very useful for us. Old lady Aasho Bai does not have to beg for money from anyone. She said that after the implementation of Mahtari Vandan Yojana by the Chhattisgarh government, it is proving to be a boon for old women like us. Every month, an amount of one thousand is received in the account, with this we fulfill our small needs. She said that the implementation of Mahtari Vandan Yojana will greatly benefit the poor and needy women of the rural area and also expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai Government for this scheme.
