Filmmaker Nikhil Advani revealed that superstar Shahrukh Khan was initially disappointed with his iconic helicopter entry scene in ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’. Nikhil Advani, who worked as an assistant director in the film, told that Khan expected him to jump from the helicopter, but instead he was instructed to get down straight. This detail reportedly disappointed him.

Nikhil Advani explained the reason behind this scene and said, “This scene was about Jaya Bachchan who gets the news of her son’s arrival as soon as he lands.” In the film, Shah Rukh Khan plays Rahul Raichand, who is deeply attached to his family but is devastated when he falls in love with a girl from a low socio-economic background, a decision his father Amitabh Bachchan’s character does not approve of.
