Minister of State for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare (Independent Charge) Krishna Gaur reviewed the progress of construction of roads in Govindpura area and repair of roads damaged due to heavy rains at her residence office. The service road from Misrod to ISBT on Bhopal-Narmadapuram Road will be constructed with cement-concrete. The construction work going on J.K. Road will be completed by the end of December this year. Construction agencies gave this information in the review meeting. Minister of State Mrs. Gaur said that she will personally inspect the progress of construction and repair work of roads in the area.
Minister of State Mrs. Gaur said that all departments including MPEB, PHE, PWD and Municipal Corporation have a role in the construction of roads in urban areas. In such a situation, these departments should work in coordination with each other. She expressed displeasure over the slow progress of work in the construction of MJM Vidyalaya to Khajuri bypass road. Mrs. Gaur said that the progress of construction of Piplani to Khajuri Kala bypass is also not satisfactory. She directed to keep constant monitoring on the quality of construction of J.K. Road and complete the construction work by the end of December this year at all costs.
Minister of State Mrs. Gaur also discussed the proceedings of construction of roads from Pallavi Nagar to Rishi Nagar in Bavadia Kala, Jubilee Gate BHEL to Ayodhya Bypass and Raisen Road to Sonagiri, Kalpana Nagar approved in the budget of Public Works Department for the year 2024-25 in Govindpura area. Chief Engineer Public Works Department Mr. Sanjay Maske, SDM MP Nagar Mr. L.K. Khare, SDM Govindpura Mr. Ravish Srivastava, officials of Municipal Corporation, PWD, PHE and other related departments were present in the review meeting.
