Now pulses like moong, arhar, masoor are made more in most of the houses. People eat less pulses like urad, gram. But earlier all of them were eaten in equal quantities. Some pulses are heavy to digest but are useful in increasing stamina. You should definitely cook and eat mixed pulses once a week.
