Instructions to repair the city’s street lights on priority before Diwali festival, to start the defunct street lights

Raipur. Today, as per the orders of Raipur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra, Additional Commissioner Mr. Vinod Pandey held a meeting of the sub-engineers of the electricity department of the zones in the presence of Executive Engineer Mr. Sharad Dhruv, Assistant Engineer Sandeep Sharma in the meeting hall located on the third floor of the Municipal Corporation Headquarters Building Mahatma Gandhi Sadan and instructed them to run a campaign in the capital city of Raipur in view of the Diwali festival and repair the defunct street lights and start the defunct street lights, send a gang from the zones to the site along with the sub-engineer to get all the public complaints related to street lights resolved immediately before the Diwali festival, and make new sets of street lights available in the wards from the central store as per practical requirement. Representatives of the contracted firm EESL Company were present in the meeting. They have been instructed to ensure the maintenance of street lights in the city on priority basis as per the terms of the contract. The Additional Commissioner has given directions to improve the street light system and ensure proper management on priority basis in the Raipur Municipal Corporation area before the Diwali festival.
