Airstrip will be constructed in Balaghat to promote tourism: School Education Minister

Bhopal. School Education and Transport Minister Uday Pratap Singh has said that an airstrip will be constructed in Balaghat with the aim of increasing the number of tourists in Kanha National Park. He said that the state government has planned air lifting for the treatment of serious patients. Due to this, construction of an airstrip has become necessary here. School Education and In-charge Minister Mr. Singh was addressing the meeting of District Magistrates in Balaghat. On this occasion, MLAs Rajkumar Karrahe, Gaurav Pardhi, Sanjay Uike, Madhu Bhagat, Vicky Patel, Mrs. Anubha Munjare and former minister Mr. Ramkishore Nano Kavre were also present.

Make an action plan for repairing roads

Minister in-charge Mr. Singh directed the officials of the Public Works Department to prepare an action plan for the repair of all the roads in the district. He said that from the month of November, the work of repairing the roads in the district will be done on a war footing. He asked senior officials to pay special attention to the quality of roads.

Prepare a report on the condition of school buildings as well

In the review meeting, Minister-in-charge Shri Singh asked the officials of School Education, Tribal Affairs Department to prepare a report on the condition of school buildings in the district. He said that the work of construction and repair of school buildings should be done on priority. He also inquired about the status of surplus teachers in schools. The Minister-in-charge inquired about the bus system operated in the district. He said that a new system will soon be implemented to monitor the systematic operation of buses. This system will also monitor the passenger fare of buses. Municipality President Smt. Bharti Thakur and local public representatives were present in the meeting.
