Chhattisgarh has recorded 1174.9 mm average rainfall so far

According to the information compiled by the State Level Control Room set up by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department of the State Government, an average rainfall of 1174.9 mm has been recorded in the state since June 1, 2024. According to the rainfall recorded in various districts of the state from June 1, 2024 till today morning 13 October, Bijapur district has recorded the highest average rainfall of 2444.3 mm and Bemetara district has recorded the lowest average rainfall of 609.0 mm.

According to the information received from the State Level Flood Control Room, from June 1 till now, an average rainfall of 640.9 mm was recorded in Surguja district, 1167.8 mm in Surajpur, 1746.9 mm in Balrampur, 1076.0 mm in Jashpur, 1132.4 mm in Korea, 1089.0 mm in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur.

Similarly, average rainfall of 961.1 mm was recorded in Raipur district, 1189.5 mm in Baloda Bazar, 1122.0 mm in Gariaband, 974.9 mm in Mahasamund, 1043.5 mm in Dhamtari, 998.1 mm in Bilaspur, 1117.1 mm in Mungeli, 1117.0 mm in Raigarh, 734.4 mm in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh, 1223.6 mm in Janjgir-Champa, 1063.2 mm in Sakti, 1423.8 mm in Korba, 1208.7 mm in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, 658.4 mm in Durg. From June 1 till now, an average rainfall of 929.8 mm has been recorded in Kabirdham district, 1130.1 mm in Rajnandgaon, 1243.2 mm in Mohla-Manpur-Ambagadh Chowki, 860.4 mm in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, 1200.4 mm in Balod, 1280.9 mm in Bastar, 1212.4 mm in Kondagaon, 1430.4 mm in Kanker, 1466.0 mm in Narayanpur, 1569.7 mm in Dantewada and 1706.7 mm in Sukma district.
