After the success of ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’, Ranveer Singh will return to the big screen with another solo project. The new film will be directed by Aditya Dhar. According to the new information, Sara Arjun will share the screen with Ranveer Singh in this film.
Sara has previously appeared in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam as well as many Hindi films. She also played the childhood character of Nandini in Mani Ratnam’s film Ponniyin Selvan. Although detailed information about Sara’s character is not yet known, she will now play the lead role in this film compared to her minor roles in other films in the last few years. However, despite playing the lead role, she will have limited screen presence in the upcoming project.
Apart from this, Sara’s casting also faced some criticism, with people questioning the age difference between her and Ranveer. According to reports, the film is titled ‘Dhurandhar’. However, the makers are yet to announce the title of the film. The untitled film will be a spy action thriller and Aditya has roped in talented faces like Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan and Arjun Rampal as supporting cast.
According to reports, Ranveer will be seen playing the role of an intelligence officer posted on a mission in Pakistan. The production work for the film began in July this year and the makers are planning to bring it to the big screen by the second half of next year. Sanjay Dutt is playing the villain while Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan and Arjun Rampal will be seen representing the Indian intelligence agency.
