Take effective steps to prevent dengue in the district, Minister Devangan wrote a letter to the Collector

Raipur. Commerce Industry and Labor Minister Lakhan Lal Devangan has written a letter to the Collector to take necessary steps immediately to prevent and control dengue in Korba city and the entire district.

Minister Devangan has written in his letter that information is being received from the general public about the continuous increase in the number of people suffering from dengue disease in the entire district including the assembly constituency Korba. People are falling prey to dengue disease in the remote forest areas of the district Podi-Uporda, Pali and Kartala as well as in Korba urban area. To prevent this, there is an extreme need for regular spraying of insecticides, cleaning of drains and waterlogging, necessary medical treatment, distribution of medicines. Along with this, it is also necessary to make arrangements for distribution of mosquito nets in the affected areas. Apart from this, in such affected areas where dengue cases are continuously increasing, there is a need to organize health camps regularly through the health department for examination of patients as well as to identify new patients quickly. In view of this, while taking special initiatives for the prevention of dengue disease in the entire district including Korba Assembly, the Health Department has been asked to immediately instruct regarding making necessary medical arrangements.
