Bhopal. Ensure adequate availability of electricity for farmers in the upcoming Rabi season. For this, prepare an action plan by sitting with the generation company. All power plants should run continuously. Make adequate arrangements for coal. Energy Minister Shri Pradyuman Singh Tomar gave these instructions while reviewing the works of Power Management Company in the Ministry.
Energy Minister Shri Tomar, while reviewing the solar projects, said that all the projects should be completed within the stipulated time frame. Monitor them continuously. Work on solar projects is going on in Agar, Shajapur, Omkareshwar in the financial year 2024-25. He said that the dues of power producers should also be paid on time. Shri Tomar gave necessary instructions after a thorough review of other subjects including power exchange, electricity schedule process, availability and cuts of electricity.
Additional Chief Secretary Energy Shri Manu Shrivastava gave information about the schedule process of electricity. He informed that while determining the requirement of electricity for the next day, the demand of electricity by distribution companies and the availability of electricity declared by production companies are kept in view. The electricity selling rates in the power exchange are kept in such a way that the variable cost of scheduled electricity can be recovered. OSD of Energy Department Mr. Vijay Gaur and other officers were present in the meeting.
