Rishis, sages, saints and mahatmas taught us to adopt a healthy lifestyle: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that in Indian culture, Rishis, sages, saints and mahatmas have taught us to adopt a healthy lifestyle. We can achieve a healthy lifestyle by following the paths and principles shown by them. In today’s era, there is a need to have a balanced diet, behavior and routine. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the program organized by MP Seva Sankalp Abhiyan Health of Indore and Digambar Jain Samaj in Indore today. With the aim of a healthy youth capable nation, on the initiative of MP Shri Shankar Lalwani, under the MP Seva Sankalp Abhiyan Health of Indore, preventive health care tests of more than 50 thousand youth were done in the last two days. In this campaign, preventive health care tests of more than three lakh citizens have been done so far.

Muni Shri Praman Sagar Ji Maharaj, Water Resources Minister Shri Tulsiram Silawat, MPs Shri Shankar Lalwani and Ms. Kavita Patidar, MLAs Smt. Malini Gaur, Shri Golu Shukla, Shri Madhu Verma and Shri Manoj Patel, Chairman of Scheduled Caste Finance Development Corporation Shri Sawan Sonkar, Shri Gaurav Randive and public representatives were present in this program.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in today’s routine, health is deteriorating rapidly day by day. The lifestyle of Indian culture and Jain society is unique and healthy in itself. For a healthy life, there is a need to learn from the lifestyle described in Indian culture. He said that today there is a need to adopt a simple, easy, satvik lifestyle. To stay healthy, we have to keep our diet, behavior, routine also controlled. This will help in a healthy life.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav took blessings from Muni Shri Praman Sagar Ji Maharaj after visiting him. He offered floral tribute to the picture of Acharya Shri Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that five life forces have been accepted in Indian Sanatan Dharma. By having control over the five breaths, a person comes in the category of greatness. Rishis, sages, saints and mahatmas have taught us to control the five breaths. He praised the Preventive Health Care Campaign. The Chief Minister said that the state government has taken a decision and is implementing it that meat shops will not be allowed to operate in the state. Many decisions have also been taken for the protection of cows. The amount for running cow shelters has been doubled. Cow shelters will be operated by the state government. Arrangements will be made to give bonus on cow milk production. He said that the state government has decided that meat and liquor shops will not be allowed in the areas along the Narmada river. He said that it is the responsibility of the government to protect the life of every person. Every necessary facility will be provided for life safety.

Muni Shri Praman Sagar Ji Maharaj said that Indian culture is a culture of keeping oneself healthy. Today there is a need to think about food and lifestyle. There has been a distortion in both food habits and lifestyle. Improve your diet and behavior, life will automatically remain healthy. There is a need to improve lifestyle and eating habits to avoid diseases. He said that such an environment should be created in the society that no one falls ill. Efforts should be made to keep the society healthy as a whole. There is a need for a spiritual revolution in the society. Spirituality is the basic foundation for building a healthy society. He appreciated the efforts of the state government for the protection of cows. Dr. Vineeta Kothari of the Central Lab gave information about the campaign. A large number of religious people including Muni Shri Nirvegsagar Ji Maharaj, Sandhansagar Ji Maharaj were present in the program.
