Successful heart surgery done with the money received under Mukhyamantri Vishesh Swasthya Sahayata Yojana
Raipur. Ramvilas Pathak, a resident of Dallirajara in Balod district, has got a new life under the good governance of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai. Mr. Pathak suddenly suffered a heart attack in the beginning of June this year. He was immediately admitted to the nearest hospital where the doctors referred him to AIIMS in Raipur for better treatment of the heart attack. After his health check-up at AIIMS, the doctors told him to get his heart surgery done and the surgery would cost around Rs. 5 lakh.
Ramvilas Pathak’s son Rajnish Kumar said that we all live in a joint family. The financial condition of the family is very weak. On getting the information that the cost of heart surgery would be around Rs. 5 lakh, we could not afford the expenses of father’s surgery. Our family had given up hope that our father would ever be healthy again. Rajnish Kumar said that in such a difficult situation, we came to know about the Mukhyamantri Vishesh Swasthya Sahayata Yojana and a ray of hope was seen that father’s heart surgery would be possible. We got a proposal of the cost of treatment prepared by the doctor of Raipur AIIMS and went to the residence of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai and submitted an application to him for help in treatment. Taking prompt action on the application given by us, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai approved a total of 05 lakh 29 thousand rupees for the heart surgery of my father.
After which the heart surgery of our father Ramvilas Pathak was done successfully. After the surgery, our father has now returned to his home. He is happily living a normal life like before. Our family expresses its heartfelt thanks to Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, it has been possible under his good governance that a husband, father and grandfather Ramvilas Pathak has got a new life in our joint family who had lost hope.
