Governor Ramen Deka and Chief Minister Sai paid homage to former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee by garlanding his statue
Raipur. Governor Ramen Deka and Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai reached Bilaspur today to attend the fifth convocation of Atal Bihari Vajpayee University. On this occasion, the Governor and the Chief Minister paid tribute to former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee by garlanding his statue installed in the university campus.
During this, First Lady Rani Deka Kakoti was also present.
Governor Shri Deka and Chief Minister Shri Sai also inaugurated the university’s project Gyanpath, Atal Muktakashi Manch and Atal Sarovar. The Governor and the Chief Minister planted saplings in the university campus under the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign.
On this occasion, Union Minister of State for Urban Development Tokhan Sahu, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, MLAs Dharamlal Kaushik, Amar Agarwal, Sushant Shukla, Vice Chancellor of Atal Bihari Vajpayee University A.D. N Vajpayee along with a large number of public representatives, officials and students of the university were present.
