Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that after the formation of the government, a massive campaign has been started to organize Regional Industrial Conclave at the division level to increase the pace of industrial investment in the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that proposals worth more than Rs 8,500 crore have been received in the Regional Conclave organized in Gwalior yesterday. He said that through various Regional Conclaves organized so far in Ujjain, Jabalpur and Gwalior along with road shows conducted in Mumbai, Bengaluru and Coimbatore, a total of Rs 1,80,000 crore proposals have been received, which will provide employment to about one and a half lakh people. He said that in the coming time, Regional Conclaves will be organized in Sagar, Rewa and Bhopal and after that Global Summit will be organized. He expressed hope that Regional Industrial Conclave will prove to be a milestone in the economic development of the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed these views during a conversation with media persons during his Delhi visit. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav informed that as a result of the facilities provided by the state government, all types of industries – heavy, medium, small and micro industries are being attracted to the state. The state government is paying special attention to employment-oriented industries such as rural, small and cottage industries and tourism industry. By developing all sectors of the economy equally, attracting investment and creating new employment opportunities, there is a plan to take the annual budget of Rs 3.5 lakh crore to Rs 7 lakh crore in a phased manner in the state in the next 5 years. In this work, the Government of India is also providing favorable conditions for the industries, for which Chief Minister Dr. Yadav thanked the Central Government. He invited industrialists and businessmen to invest in the state and expressed hope that they will become partners in the progress of all the people of the state and will cooperate in fulfilling the vision of a developed Madhya Pradesh under the leadership of Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
