Google Cloud proposes to set up Startup Hub and Centre of Excellence in Madhya Pradesh: Chief Minister
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Google Cloud has proposed to set up Startup Hub and Centre of Excellence in Madhya Pradesh to increase skilled workforce. Discussions have been held with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, the manufacturer of Tejas aircraft, regarding setting up of defense related industries in Madhya Pradesh, which is likely to yield positive results. Similarly, N Video has suggested to prepare a blue print to establish Madhya Pradesh as ‘Intelligence Capital of India’. In the interactive session of Investment Opportunities in Madhya Pradesh under the Invest Madhya Pradesh session in Bengaluru, investment proposals worth about Rs 3200 crore have been received in the state, which will create about 7 thousand employment opportunities. This visit was positive from the investment point of view. Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka have a brotherly relationship, both the states have the same environment. With the aim of providing more space to trade, business and industry operators in Karnataka to expand their activities, the Invest Madhya Pradesh program was organized in Karnataka. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav gave this information in a press conference after the interactive session of Invest Madhya Pradesh held in Bengaluru.
Relations between Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka will become more prosperous and strong with time
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the positive results of the investment proposals received in Bengaluru will be seen in the Regional Industry Conclave to be held in Gwalior on 28 August. He said that to invite investment in Madhya Pradesh, the state government had planned to visit different states and discuss with the entrepreneurs and industrialists there. Concrete results are coming in this direction. It is hoped that the relations formed with Karnataka will become more prosperous and strong with time.
More than 500 participants from other states including Karnataka participated in Invest Madhya Pradesh
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that discussions were held with the renowned organization of IT companies NASSCOM and representatives of space technology sector and Infosys, Cognizant, TCS, Hapheus Mines and SAP etc. regarding the development of IT in the state and their future plans, which is likely to have positive results. He informed that more than 500 participants from Karnataka and nearby states participated in the program. One-to-one meetings were held with more than 30 prominent industrialists including Lap India, Reliance Consumer, DHL Global, Tech Mahindra, Microsoft, Kenes Technology, Kirloskar Systems.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav informed that Consul Generals of Australia, Switzerland, Italy and France along with Deputy High Commissioner of Britain and Honorary Commercial Ambassadors of Finland, Poland, Cambodia, Morocco, Peru, Tunisia, Namibia, Spain participated in Invest Madhya Pradesh. Along with this, representatives of NASSCOM, Confederation of Indian Industries, AISA, Aclina, TIE, CIMI, KASIA, Federation of Indian Export Organizations, Apparel Export Promotion Council and Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce participated in the program.
Presentation for investment in the state, exchange of experiences with round table meeting
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that with the aim of creating an environment for investment in the state, the state government gave a presentation on the possibilities, facilities and incentive and cooperation policies existing in the state in the field of industrial policy and investment promotion, science and technology, micro, small and medium industries and tourism. Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation signed MoUs with India Electronics Semiconductor Association, TIE Global, Electronics Industries Association of India and Association of Geo Spatial Industries in the IT sector. Under Invest Madhya Pradesh, round table meetings were held with Space Technology Sector, Global Capability Centers, IT-ITES and ESDM Sector and Apparel Industry. Mr. Mohandas Pai of Manipal Group, Chief Operation Officer of Lap India Mr. Shiv Venkataramani and MD of Infobeans Mr. Siddharth Sethi shared their experiences in the program.
