Chief Minister will give Rakshabandhan gift to 70 lakh mothers and sisters

Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai will attend the district level women’s conference organized there on August 01 during his stay in Jagdalpur and will give the gift of Rakhi festival to the women of the state by releasing the 6th installment of Rs 1000-1000 under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. On this occasion, he will also launch the Mahtari Vandan App.

It is worth noting that under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, an amount of one thousand rupees each is transferred to the bank accounts of about 70 lakh married women of the state every month by the state government in view of their economic empowerment.

In the conference, Chief Minister Shri Sai will also distribute a bank loan of 100 crores under financial inclusion to 2752 women self-help groups for conducting economic activities. In the program, along with garlanding the statue of Shaheed Gundadhur, the Jal Shakti Rath will be flagged off by Nari Shakti.

Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam

Chief Minister Shri Sai will launch the Mahavriksharopan Abhiyan in the name of Ek Ped Maa. On this occasion, material will be distributed to the beneficiaries of Mahtari Vandan Yojana as well as the beneficiaries of the Industry Department, Labor Department and other departments. It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has launched the tree plantation campaign in the name of Ek Ped Maa on the occasion of World Environment Day. Under this campaign, the target is to plant 80 crore trees in the country by September 2024 and 140 crore trees by March 2025. Under the Mahavriksharopan Abhiyan in the name of Ek Ped Maa, 2 crore 75 lakh plants are being planted in the state of Chhattisgarh and 03 crore 95 lakh 85 thousand plants are being planted by the Forest Department in forest and non-forest areas.

Inauguration of development works

Chief Minister Shri Sai will inaugurate development works worth more than 9 crore 31 lakh in Jagdalpur. These include the Sub-Divisional Magistrate Office Jagdalpur, Tokapal and Lohandiguda at a cost of 48.03 lakhs and the renovation of the new Tehsil Office Jagdalpur at a cost of 66.49 lakhs, along with Lohandiguda and Burgum police stations constructed at a cost of 2.50-2.50 crores. Similarly, the Annapurna kitchen with modular kitchen and material installed at a cost of 01 crore 72 lakh 76 thousand under the DMFT head will be inaugurated in the District Hospital (Maharani Hospital) premises. Along with this, the Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Kendra will also be inaugurated in the Maharani Laxmi Bai Hospital premises.

Mahatari Vandan App

Mahatari Vandan Mobile App is also being launched to further strengthen the implementation of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. Through this app, information about the monthly payments made to the beneficiaries and in which account this amount has been received will be easily available.

If any beneficiary of Mahtari Vandan Yojana dies untimely, then its information can also be given through this mobile app. Complaints can be sent through this app and the status of resolution can also be seen. If any beneficiary wants to give up the benefits being received, then he can give up the benefits through the mobile app. Apart from this, information about the guidelines issued by the government from time to time under the scheme will also be available to the beneficiaries through this mobile app.
