After returning from Delhi today, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav suddenly reached the State Flood Control Room and got information about the condition of excessive rainfall in the districts of the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed that it should be ensured that citizens should not go to such places where water is flowing over the bridge. All should be alert in this regard. Be alert in case of opening of gates of dams. Necessary precautions should be taken in areas which may get submerged. Care should be taken to avoid loss of life. Senior officers should also be present in the control room from time to time and administrative officers in the districts should ensure all the arrangements.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inspected the flood control room in Bhopal late night and got information about the working system. Information was received from Director General of Police Mr. Sudhir Kumar Saxena and other senior officers regarding the work being done by the flood control room.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav discussed the condition of rainfall in the state with Chief Secretary Mrs. Veera Rana and other senior officers. He discussed about various arrangements for districts with heavy rainfall and gave necessary instructions.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav instructed that senior officers should keep a constant watch on all situations. If necessary, helicopter arrangements should also be made for such areas. Control the accidents caused by tubewells in rural areas.
