Hosting of the great sports event: The opening ceremony will be held in a unique way on the Seine River
The 33rd Olympics are going to start from Friday in Paris, the city of fashion. Paris is hosting the great sports event again after a hundred years. For the first time in history, the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games will not be held in the stadium. The athletes will parade in boats on the banks of the river Seine flowing through Paris in front of the audience. The boats of each national delegation will have cameras installed, so that the audience watching on TV and online will be able to see the entire activity closely. The parade will end on its 6 km route in front of the Trocadero, where the final stages of the ceremony and festive shows will take place. The beachball competition will be held next to the historic Eiffel Tower.
Gender equality will be seen this time
Gender equality will also be seen in this Olympics. Half of the total 10,500 players will be women. The traditional closing ceremony of the Paris Games will be with the women’s marathon instead of the men’s marathon. This time, there are 28 out of 32 sports in which both men and women will participate.
