CM Dhami's announcement, government will give reservation to Agniveers
The government will now give reservation to Agniveers in Uttarakhand. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced this during a program on Sunday. CM Dhami said that the government had already decided that the Agniveers of the state would be given appointments in government departments. The government will also give them reservation. If necessary, an act will also be made for this.
CM Dhami said that the Agniveers who return after four years of army service should not be apprehensive about their secure future. Instructions have been given to the officers to prepare a concrete plan for this. He said that Uttarakhand is a soldier-dominated state. The youth here are recruited in the Indian Army on a large scale. Therefore, the state government will leave no stone unturned in employing retired soldiers after completing four years of service in the army. The Sainik Welfare Department has started preparing a proposal in this regard. Said that our government is working seriously in this direction.
