Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has described the budget of the year 2024-25 as Sarvajan Hitaye-Sarvajan Sukhaye. He said that for the first time in the state, a budget of more than 03 lakh 60 thousand crores has been presented. The specialty of the budget is that no tax of any kind has been imposed in it. The expected amount of any department has not been reduced, but the allocation of all departments has been increased. In the budget presented on the theme of “Developed India-Developed Madhya Pradesh”, the size of the budget will be doubled in the next five years while ensuring the growth of GDP as per the expectations of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. All sections, especially youth, poor, women, farmers etc. have been taken care of in the budget. With special attention to the areas of new technology including IT, more and more youth of the state should come in administrative services, for this purpose, work will be done on a long-term plan to provide them incentives and training and to increase their contribution in the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has congratulated the people of the state for the budget of the year 2024-25. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was discussing with media representatives at the Media Center located in the Vidhan Sabha.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that special arrangements have also been made in the budget for the students who are studying in hostels. He said that adequate funds have been arranged in the budget to encourage milk production in the state. Adequate funds have also been provided for cow shelters. Budget provision for industrial development has been increased by 40 percent. A large amount has also been provided for self-help groups including heavy industries, MSMEs and cottage industries. Special attention will be given to construction works of permanent nature like schools, colleges, hospitals, roads, expressways. Provision of financial liquidity has been made by making adequate arrangements for direct connectivity of Mahakaushal, Chambal, Vindhya, Malwa, etc. to the capital.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Simhastha is going to be organized on a large scale in the state. Simhastha held in Ujjain is grand and divine. For Simhastha, a provision of Rs. 500 crore has been made as a token amount for the purpose of adequate arrangements at the Dev-sthans of 13 districts of Indore and Ujjain division. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that senior citizens are the treasure of the state, a special scheme is being started for them. For the care of parents of youth working in other states or abroad, such societies will be encouraged in urban areas, where all necessary arrangements including medical facilities are available for senior citizens. The private sector coming forward in this direction will be provided support by the state government.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that record number of tourists have come to the state. Along with religious tourism, there are adequate activities in heritage tourism, forest tourism. Along with this, provision of funds has been made to encourage education and health tourism. The production capacity of “Shri Anna” in the state is the highest in the country. Arrangements have also been made to encourage this. “Shri Anna Anusandhan Kendra” is being opened in Dindori. Similarly, under pulses, Chana Anusandhan Kendra will be opened in Malwa and Mustard Anusandhan Kendra in Chambal. To prevent cow-related crimes, along with taking strict action, the state government has declared this year as the Cow Protection Year to encourage cows. As a result of the public welfare schemes of the state government, more than two crore 30 lakh people have come out of the poverty line. The state government will continue to work for the better life of the common man by implementing employment-oriented schemes in the state.
