Minister of State for Culture, Tourism, Religious Trust and Endowments Dharmendra Singh Lodhi, while wishing the people of the state on Environment Day, appealed to everyone to plant trees. He said that trees must be planted, because trees give us life and oxygen. On the occasion of Environment Day, 25 trees were planted in Nohta. Everyone raised the slogan “Saans ho rahi hai kam, aao ped lagayein hum” in the program.
In the program organized on World Environment Day, State Minister Shri Lodhi said that rainy season is about to start, it is very important to plant trees to save the earth. The trees that will be planted during the rainy season will definitely grow. They will not need to be watered. Trees and plants will bloom and flourish on their own in the rain. Therefore, he appealed to everyone to definitely plant trees during the rainy season. Minister of State Shri Lodhi participated in the tree plantation programme at Kalehra, Jabera and other places.
