Badrinath. The doors of Badrinath Dham opened on Sunday amidst auspicious waves. Devotees will now be able to have darshan and worship of Lord Badrivishal here for six months. Thousands of devotees became witnesses of this holy moment. As soon as the doors opened, there was a flood of faith in the Dham. At the same time, CM Dhami also wished the pilgrims for the opening of the doors of the Dham.
Amidst light rain, the melodious tune of army band and drums and the praise of Lord Badri Vishal along with traditional music and dance of local women enthralled the devotees. With the observance of religious traditions, Kuber ji, Uddhav ji and Gadu pitcher were brought into the temple premises from the south gate. After this, the chief priest of the temple, Rawal, along with religious officials, Haq Haqukdhari and officials of the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee, opened the doors of the temple with rituals in the presence of the administration and thousands of devotees.
Chief priest VC Ishwar Prasad Namboodiri performed special puja of Lord Badrinath in the sanctum sanctorum and wished a happy life for everyone. With this, the darshan of Badrinath has started for the summer season.
The journey to the Chardhams of Uttarakhand starts from Yamunotri Dham located in Uttarkashi district, which reaches Badrinath Dham via Gangotri and Kedarnath. The doors of Yamunotri, Gangotri and Kedarnath temples have been opened on May 10. On the occasion of the opening of the doors, with the help of Shri Badrinath Pushp Seva Samiti Rishikesh, the Dham from Aastha Path has been decorated with 15 quintals of orchids and marigold flowers.

Before the doors of Badrinath Dham open, the doors of Adikedareshwar temple open. According to tradition, the process of opening the doors of Badrinath temple started at 5 in the morning, under which the recitation of Vedic mantras started at 5.20 am. Along with this, when Rawal opened the seal on the door of Badrinath temple, at the same time the representative of the royal court, Kanta Prasad Nautiyal, opened the door of the main gate of the temple and first of all, Rawal and Batla Barwa of Badrinath entered the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. .
At the same time, crowds of devotees have started gathering at other pilgrimage sites in Bhu-Baikunth Dham. With the opening of the doors of the temple, devotees have also started reaching Taptakund, Narad Kund, Sheshnetra Lake, Neelkanth Shikhar, Urvashi Temple Brahma Kapal, Mata Murti Temple and the country’s first village Mana, Bhimpul, Vasudhara Falls and other historical and philosophical places.
