9 water tanks will be built to solve the drinking water problem in Govindpura: State Minister Mrs. Gaur

Bhopal: Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare, Vimukta, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Welfare, Smt. Krishna Gaur held a meeting with public representatives on drinking water supply and other issues during summer. Minister of State Smt. Krishna Gaur said that to solve the problem of drinking water in Govindpura area, 9 new water tanks will be constructed, in which up to 10 lakh liters of water can be stored.

State Minister Smt. Gaur took information from the public representatives about the work plan and problems of their area and directed the officers to complete all the works within the time limit. She said that if on visiting the area, the public is seen struggling with drinking water problem, then strict action will be taken against the officers. State Minister Smt. Gaur has also given instructions to give bulk connections in colonies facing water problem and to increase the time limit of supply. She also said that new water pipelines should be laid where it is absolutely necessary.

Councillors Mrs. Chhaya Thakur, Mrs. Mamta Vishwakarma, Mrs. Archana Parmar, Mrs. Urmila Maurya, Mr. Vikas Patel, Mr. Raju Rathore, Mr. Neeraj Singh, Mr. Shivlal Makoria, Mr. Rambabu Patidar, Mr. Santosh Gwala, Mr. V. Shakti Rao, Mr. Nilesh Gaur, Mr. Lavkush Yadav, Mrs. Monica Thakur, Mr. Sanjay Sabnani, Mr. L.K. Khare and Mr. Udit Garg were present in the meeting.
