850 posts of special support squad approved for Naxal-affected districts Balaghat, Mandla and Dindori

Bhopal: In the meeting of the Council of Ministers chaired by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, it was decided to separate the Nazul land of Pachmarhi town from the boundary of the sanctuary. It has been decided to exclude the Nazul area of Pachmarhi town, which has an area of 395.931 hectares, which is under the administrative control of SADA, from the boundary of Pachmarhi Sanctuary. Earlier, by notification dated 22 December 2017, 11 villages located on the periphery of Pachmarhi Sanctuary were excluded from the sanctuary and some villages were kept in the enclosure. The Council of Ministers approved giving an additional amount of Rs 50 lakh each to the medal winning players in the Para-Olympics. For the implementation of the Chief Minister’s announcement, an additional amount of Rs 50 lakh will be given to the bronze medal winning players in Para-Olympics-2024, which will make the total honorarium Rs 1 crore.
It is noteworthy that the Chief Minister had announced to give an honorarium of Rs 1 crore to Para-Olympic players Ms. Rubina Francis and Kapil Parmar for their outstanding performance in the Para-Olympic Games. In the Para Olympic Games held in Paris, France, from 28 August to 8 September 2024, MP player Ms. Rubina Francis won a bronze medal in shooting and Kapil Parmar won a bronze medal in blind judo. 850 posts approved for special support squad for three Naxal-affected districts The Council of Ministers has approved 850 posts for one year for the Special Support Squad for the Naxal-affected districts of Balaghat, Mandla and Dindori.
Formation of “State Centralized Pension Processing Cell” for redressal of pension cases The Council of Ministers approved the decision to constitute “State Centralized Pension Processing Cell” for redressal of pension cases. The State Centralized Pension Processing Cell will be authorized for all the processes related to the resolution of pension cases. For the convenience of divisional and district level offices and retired government servants, the present divisional and district pension offices will be kept as pension settlement centers with limited structure for 2 years temporarily. Rationalization of posts will be done. This will result in a non-recurring expenditure burden of Rs 5 crore on the state government. Approval to establish supply office and weights and measures office in newly formed districts The Council of Ministers approved the establishment of District Supply Officer Offices under the Food Civil Supply and Consumer Protection Department in the newly formed districts Mauganj, Maihar and Pandhurna and weights and measures offices in Niwari, Mauganj, Maihar and Pandhurna. A total of 16 posts were approved for three District Supply Officer Offices and a total of 13 posts were approved for weights and measures offices in 4 districts. As per the approval, 1 post each of District Supply Officer in Mauganj, Maihar and Pandhurna, 1 post each of Assistant Supply Officer, 2 posts of Junior Supply Officer in Mauganj and 1 each in Maihar and Pandhurna, 1 post each of Accountant and 1 post of Peon were approved. For the office of Measurement and Weighing, 1 post of Inspector each in the newly formed districts of Niwari, Mauganj, Maihar and Pandhurna, 1 post each of Assistant Grade-3, 2 posts of Labour Assistant in Mauganj and 1 post each in Maihar, Pandhurna and Niwari were approved.
