730 schools will be developed as PMShri schools
Bhopal. To improve the quality of school education in the state, 730 schools are being developed as PMShree schools. Of these, 626 government schools are being developed in 313 development blocks and 104 in urban bodies. These schools are being run by the School Education Department of the State Government.
An action plan worth Rs 219 crore has been approved by the Central Government for the scheme of 416 schools selected in the first phase in the year 2023-24. These selected schools are being developed on the lines of green schools. The selected school has lab, library, vocational education, ICT. Lab and Atal Tickering Lab are also being built.

ICT in government schools run by the School Education Department. Establishment of lab is being given priority. Digital education has been considered important in the new education policy. Computer labs have been established in 2350 government schools of the state. 10 computers, smart TV and other necessary equipment are being provided in the lab. A pilot project has been started in 5 CM Rise schools of Bhopal district to teach robotics and coding techniques. Robotic labs are being established in 104 government schools of the state.
