31 meritorious children of workers will get incentive amount of 2 lakhs each from the hands of the Chief Minister

An amount of Rs 19.71 crore will be transferred to the accounts of construction workers
The program will be held on June 15 at New Circuit House, Raipur
Raipur, June 13, 2025 – Under the Chief Minister Noni Babu Medhavi Shiksha Sahayata Yojana, a total of 31 meritorious students of registered workers who came in the top 10 of class 10th and 12th in the board examination will be given an incentive amount of two lakh rupees each by the Chief Minister of the state Shri Vishnu Dev Sai in a program organized at New Circuit House on June 15. Labor Minister Shri Lakhan Lal Devangan and President of Chhattisgarh Bhawan and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board Dr. Ram Pratap Singh will also be present on this occasion.
Labor Minister Shri Dewangan informed that under the proposed program of the Board, a total of 31 working children including 26 children of 10th class and 5 children of 12th class in Chhattisgarh Secondary Education Board will be given Rs 2 lakh per student under the Chief Minister Noni Babu Medhavi Education Assistance Scheme. This includes Rs 1 lakh for two-wheeler and Rs 1 lakh as cash incentive. Similarly, Chhattisgarh Bhawan and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board has given assistance amount of more than Rs 19.71 crore to 38200 construction workers of the state through DBT directly in their bank accounts. This amount will be provided under various welfare schemes. The details of the schemes and the number of beneficiaries and the amount are as follows –

This initiative will play a vital role in providing financial assistance to the construction workers of the state and their families and improving their standard of living.
