21-Year-Old Man Murders Father, Later Files a False Missing Complaint

Son Kills Father, Reports Him Missing: Shocking Crime in Umaria In a shocking incident from the Naurojabad area of Umaria district, a 21-year-old man killed his father, disposed of the body, and later filed a missing person report to mislead the police. The truth came to light when the father’s skeletal remains were found, leading to the son’s arrest.

Family Involvement in the Cover-Up

The accused didn’t act alone—his younger brother helped him dispose of the body. Together, they loaded the body onto a motorcycle and dumped it in the bushes near a riverbank.

Skeletal Remains Expose the Crime

The mystery unraveled when locals discovered human remains in the bushes near Sukhnara Bridge, just 100 meters from the Jarha Tirahe area. The discovery caused panic, and Naurojabad police rushed to the scene. After some investigation, the body was identified as 44-year-old Raisen Singh Gaur, a resident of Budhan. The condition of the body suggested foul play, leading the police to suspect murder.

Suspicion Leads to Confession

The police questioned the victim’s elder son, Muneshwar Singh (21), based on suspicion. During intense interrogation, he confessed to killing his father. He revealed that on the night of March 1, 2025, his father came home drunk and started beating his mother and wife. When Muneshwar intervened, his father turned on him as well and, in a fit of rage, threw his one-year-old child. Furious, Muneshwar grabbed a wooden stick and attacked his father multiple times, leading to his death.

Dumping the Body and Filing a False Report

After the murder, Muneshwar, with the help of his younger brother, transported the body on a bike and dumped it in the bushes near Sukhnara Bridge. To divert suspicion, he filed a missing person report on March 6 at Naurojabad police station.

Legal Action Against the Accused

Following Muneshwar’s confession, the Naurojabad police arrested him and his younger brother under sections 103(1), 238(k)3, and 5 BNS of the law. The case is now under investigation, and further action will be taken as per legal procedures.
