2 community buildings will be built in gram panchayats with a population of more than 5000: Minister Patel

Bhopal: Two community buildings will be built in those Gram Panchayats in Madhya Pradesh which have a population of more than 5 thousand. Along with this, the office of the Deputy Engineer will be built in the Gram Panchayat having clusters of 10 to 12 Gram Panchayats. Panchayat and Rural Development and Labor Minister Shri Prahlad Singh Patel said this while addressing the inauguration program of the newly constructed fully equipped Gram Panchayat building at a cost of Rs 64 lakh in village Bharveli of Balaghat Janpad Panchayat on Friday. He unveiled the statue of former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee and social worker Mata Savitri Bai Phule in the Gram Panchayat Bhawan premises and distributed benefits to the beneficiaries of various schemes.

Minister Shri Patel said that the program of inauguration of Bharveli Gram Panchayat Bhawan is a memorable day. It is a matter of good fortune to have the opportunity to unveil the statue of former Prime Minister Shri Vajpayee ji and great social worker Savitri Bai Phule, who are considered the backbone of the country’s development. Due to the efforts of former Prime Minister Shri Atal ji, the villages of the country have been connected with paved roads. This scheme started by him is bearing fruit even today. The work done by social worker Savitribai Phule for women’s education cannot be forgotten. In the coming times, there will be no Gram Panchayat without a building in the state. Gram Panchayat buildings are being built in a phased manner in the state and community buildings are also being built along with them. Two community buildings will be built in those Gram Panchayats whose population is more than 05 thousand. Bharveli will also get the benefit of this.

Minister Shri Patel praised Balaghat district for coming third in the state in the Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan and said that Balaghat district has done a good job in this campaign. He said that the administration and public representatives deserve congratulations. He said that a plantation campaign will be run on government land in the state from 15 July to 15 August. In this campaign, along with planting saplings, a guarantee of their survival will also be taken. Plants will be planted at those places where there will be fencing arrangements for their protection and there will be water arrangements in the summer days. From 15th August to 15th September, a campaign “Ek Bagiya Maa Ke Naam” will be run and in this, fruit trees will be planted on the women’s groups which have 01 acre of land available. Women’s groups will be given Rs. 02 lakh in the first year, Rs. 52 thousand in the second year and Rs. 48 thousand in the third year on the progress of their work.
