Bhopal: In continuation of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s heartfelt dialogue with the countrymen, the 119th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ was broadcast live on Sunday. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav listened to Prime Minister Shri Modi’s Mann Ki Baat broadcast from his personal office room in Samatva Bhawan (Chief Minister’s residence).
In this episode of Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Shri Modi, while referring to the recently concluded National Games in Uttarakhand, said that more than 11 thousand athletes from all over the country performed brilliantly. Prime Minister Shri Modi said that this event in the National Games presented a new form of Devbhoomi. He also discussed some memorable performances in these games. Prime Minister Shri Modi praised 19-year-old pole vaulter Shri Dev Kumar Meena of Madhya Pradesh and said that Dev Kumar has proved that India’s sports future is in the hands of a very talented generation. Prime Minister Shri Modi said that the National Games held in Uttarakhand have also shown us that those who never give up, definitely win. No one becomes a champion with comfort.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that we are proud of the appreciation of the pole vaulter of the state by Prime Minister Shri Modi. Dev Kumar’s excellent performance in pole vault shows how rapidly our state is progressing in the development and promotion of sports and players.
