In Nagar Panchayats, 05 nomination papers were filed for the post of President and 73 for the post of councilor
Nomination will be done till January 28, scrutiny on January 29 and last date for withdrawal of name is January 31
Jashpurnagar 28 January 2025: Under the process of nomination papers for Urban Body Election 2025, till last day 27 January, 01 nomination paper has been filed for the post of Municipal Council President and 19 for the post of councilor. Similarly, in Nagar Panchayats, 05 nomination papers have been filed for the post of President and 73 for the post of councilor. In which 01 nomination papers have been filed for Nagar Panchayat Kunkuri for the post of President, 02 for Nagar Panchayat Bagicha, 02 for Nagar Panchayat Kotba and 027 for Nagar
Panchayat Kunkuri, 23 for Nagar Panchayat Bagicha, 06 for Nagar Panchayat Pathalgaon and 17 for Nagar Panchayat Kotba for the post of councilor. It is known that as per the program released by the State Election Commission for the Urban Body Election 2025, the nomination process will continue till January 28. The last date for scrutiny and withdrawal of nomination is 31 January 2025. As per the instructions of Collector and District Election Officer Shri Rohit Vyas, preparations are going on for the Urban Body General Election 2025 in the district. He has instructed the RO, ARO, Presiding and Polling Officers of the district to strictly plan the rules and perform the work as per the programs issued by the Election Commission.
